Source detail page: X Important! Meet information is currently being updated. Registration will open on Wednesday, June 17. Athletes must compete in their designated age groups based on their year of birth as of December 31. Athletes in certain age groups seeking to meet Canada Games standards may be eligible to move up one category if their current age group does not have a corresponding Canada Games event. However, U14 athletes are not allowed to compete in the U18 category. To request approval for moving up an age category, athletes must contact the NLAA office before the registration deadline. Venue The NLAA Provincial Track and Field Age-Class Championships will be held at Pearlgate Track and Field Complex in Mount Pearl. The track, an eight (8) lane and runways surface are Poly-urethane. Concrete discus, shot put and hammer circles with regulation cages for discus and hammer are provided. Track and Field Members This meet is open to 2026 Track and Field registered members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Athletics Association (NLAA). An annual track and field membership fee is $40.00. Non-members wishing to participate in the meet can sign-up for Track and Field Membership online. Competition Rules The competition will be conducted per the World Athletics Handbook and variations per Athletics Canada and NLAA rules.
