One Foot Wet is a one-act romantic comedy by Robert Chafe. Sophie’s father has passed and she takes up his goal of tracing her family’s lineage, leading her to a rundown old bed and breakfast in the English countryside and to Ollie, a not-so-handy handy man hired to fix the leaky roof.
