🥕 Protecting Your Crops - Cloches, Cold Frames, and Green Houses

Event Description Join Dan Rubin from Perfectly Perennial Herbs and Seeds as he talks all about protecting your crops. Dan is a garden educator, author and activist who has years of experience gardening in Newfoundland. This workshop will focus on how to create protective structures effectively, efficiently, and cheaply using readily available and free materials. Protection from wind and cold is essential in our climate, particularly with new, erratic weather patterns emerging from global climate change. Admission is $10.00 per person and free to those who have a bed at our Lanark Community Garden. Registration opens May 15 at 9:00 a.m. and can be completed on our Town's Recreation Portal.
